Golden Plains Llama Association(GPLA) is a not for profit organization made up of area members who are breeders, owners or enthusiasts of llamas or other members of the camelid family. The purpose of the organization is to promote the llama industry, the well being of the animals, and the education of owners as well as the general public about llamas. The organization holds quarterly meetings open to all members and guests. An annual membership meeting is held in conjunction with a conference each February at which time organization officials are elected from the membership for vacant offices in the new year.
GPLA sponsors several events through-out the year and includes ALSA sanctioned shows, education seminars, and youth scholarships.

Member meetings will be held at various member ranches. A notice will reflect where the meeting will be held. Come for a covered dish lunch at noon and the business meeting will begin at 1:00pm.
